Confusing debunking display.

Confusing debunking display.

Message par Enling » 25 Mars 2017 15:30

In master variant debunking display doesn't highlight the potion that will not debunk any theory. Instead this potion showed like conflict (hex with 2 faces under that potion's circle). It is confusing. How can I distinguish this result (no debunking) from a conflict when they showed equal?

I don't understand : if you see the conflict icon, then you distinguish the potion that does not debunk but reveals conflict

I sent screenshot. In game 5004 I choose blue+ (it showed like conflict), but result was not conflict.

it should be fixed now.
The thing is... you should not have been able to select blue+, because it is a potion that could not reveal a conflict or debunk a theory... So your move was invalid. But now, I cannot fix your game. Sorry.

Thank you. I think that move should be available, but it should be marked as not leading to any good results.

Isn't the behaviour in the online implementation actually correct?

If "Toad + Foot -> Blue +" failed, then _that_ would have introduced a conflict. Therefore it was a valid thing to test, but it actually did give blue +, so no conflict was generated, and the debunk failed.

exactly, I like the way Fred do it, like in real life game. You are allowed to reproduce any experiments and choose any result. IF you choose correct and you KNOW what are you doing its ok. What result to choose should not be limited or spoiler rise up about potion result and ingredients combination.
