[BUG - FIXED] Missing cards game 28975

[BUG - FIXED] Missing cards game 28975

Message par Roland » 23 Sep 2018 12:14

Hi,
In game 28975 we play with the "natural topology" variant, which to my understandin would mean that when the draw pile is exhausted all cards will be availble. But in our games looks like there are 4 cards missing. We just had the draw pile exhausted and there are 11 tiles on the game board as well as 11 lette cards in play so a total of 22 cards. Both of us have our regular 4 cards in our hand but in the draw pile there arer only 10 cards.
Could you please check this?
During previous rounds of the the game I already had the feeling the draw pile got exhausted too quick.
Regards,
Roland

Is anyone looking into this?
As this is a game for the ABP tour I really would like to know if this can be consired a bug.

sorry. I didn't make this variant myself, I never played it or read its rules, and I hardly remember the original game. If there is a bug with the draw pile, maybe we should close the "natural topology"variant...

So, who made this variant and can he or she look into this?
I haven't noticed this kind of behaviour before so generally this works fine only in this game it doesn't look good.

he was a player who didn't come here for years...

ok, so I finally figured this out. the discard pile was not properly initialized in natural topology variant, so when your opponent began the game by discarding his hand, the cards disappeared into a black hole. The bug is fixed, and your game is deleted. Please try again!
