My friend tried to register two days ago, and still has not gotten an email to confirm his account.

Sorry for bringing this up again, but the issue has not been resolved... I have sent an email to the abovementioned address, still nothing.

It’s the same for everyone i think. No mail for turn notification and no mail for end /invitation of/to games

All outgoing email seems to have ceased at Christmas. Isn't it time this finally got fixed?
